Getting Started With Care
How do we begin care with EverCaring Home Care Services?
Call (613) 689-9505 or email support@evercaring.ca. We will ask who needs support, where they live, what assistance would make daily life safer or more comfortable, the preferred schedule, and when care should begin. We then review the requested services, confirm what can be provided, discuss rates and scheduling, and prepare clear care instructions before the first visit.
How is a care plan created?
The care plan is based on conversations with the client and, when authorized, their family or representative. It records the person’s routines, preferences, mobility and meal needs, approved medication reminders, access instructions, family directions, appointment needs, safety considerations and other practical information. The plan can be updated when needs or circumstances change.
How are staff members matched with a client?
EverCaring Home Care Services considers the requested services, schedule, location, client preferences and the role, experience and verified information recorded for available staff. We do not claim that a staff member holds a credential unless that information has been provided and verified. Compatibility and continuity are considered whenever scheduling permits.
What happens before the first visit?
The client or authorized contact receives confirmation of the agreed date, time and services. The assigned staff member receives only the client information and approved instructions needed for that visit. Families should provide accurate access details, emergency contacts, routines and relevant changes before care begins.
How is care scheduled or changed?
Visits are scheduled according to the agreed care plan, requested times and staff availability. To request a new visit, cancellation or schedule change, contact EverCaring Home Care Services as early as possible. We confirm changes rather than assuming a voicemail or email has been received and accepted.
Care, Comfort and Daily Support
What personal care and hygiene support is available?
Approved support may include bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other personal routines. Care is provided with attention to privacy, dignity, consent, comfort and the person’s established preferences. The exact assistance is documented before it is assigned.
Can care include companionship and everyday support?
Yes. A visit may include conversation, reading, hobbies, routine support, social engagement and practical help with everyday activities. The goal is dependable human support that respects the client’s independence, interests and choices.
Can staff prepare meals?
Care plans may include simple meal preparation, serving meals and tidying the immediate preparation area. Staff follow the client’s preferences and documented household or family instructions. Dietary or swallowing requirements should be clearly communicated; medical nutrition advice must come from an appropriately qualified professional.
Can staff provide medication reminders?
Staff may provide reminders when they are specifically included in the care plan. EverCaring Home Care Services does not independently prescribe, change or make decisions about medication. Questions about medication, dosage or side effects should be directed to a pharmacist, physician or other appropriate regulated professional.
How can care support mobility and fall prevention?
The care plan may include approved mobility assistance, support with routine movement, keeping common pathways clear, observing and reporting practical concerns, and following documented transfer or mobility instructions. EverCaring Home Care Services does not promise that every fall can be prevented. Significant changes should be assessed by the appropriate health professional.
What dementia and memory support is available?
Support may include calm companionship, familiar routines, orientation cues, reminders, meal support, meaningful activities and practical daily assistance. Care follows the approved plan and family directions while respecting the person’s dignity. Needs that require clinical assessment or treatment must be addressed by an appropriately qualified professional.
Do you provide respite care for family caregivers?
Yes. Respite visits allow family caregivers to rest, attend appointments, work or manage other responsibilities while the client receives agreed support. Families should explain important routines, risks, preferences and contact instructions before the respite visit.
Can EverCaring Home Care Services help after hospitalization or surgery?
Non-medical home support may include meals, mobility assistance, personal routines, reminders, light housekeeping and help re-establishing everyday routines. We follow the agreed care instructions and discharge information supplied to us. Wound care, assessment, treatment and other clinical services require a suitably qualified professional.
Are overnight or 24-hour arrangements available?
Overnight, extended-hour or continuous arrangements may be available depending on the client’s needs, location, safety requirements and staffing. These requests require a detailed discussion so responsibilities, awake or sleeping expectations, handovers, rates and scheduling are clearly understood.
Is disability support available?
EverCaring Home Care Services can provide individualized daily-living and community support based on the person’s abilities, choices, communication preferences and approved plan. Support is designed around the individual rather than assumptions about a diagnosis or disability.
Does care include housekeeping, errands, appointments or outings?
A care plan may include light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry and tidying the client’s immediate living area. It may also include agreed accompaniment or practical support for appointments, errands and outings. Transportation arrangements, costs, mobility requirements and mileage should be confirmed in advance.
Communication, Privacy and Safety
What information does an assigned staff member see?
Staff members see only their own schedule and the assigned client details needed for the visit, such as the date, time, address, service, approved care instructions and relevant contact information. They do not receive access to unrelated clients, other staff records or EverCaring Home Care Services financial and administrative records.
How should families communicate changes or concerns?
Contact EverCaring Home Care Services promptly if the client’s condition, mobility, routine, access instructions, medication-reminder needs or family directions change. For an urgent medical emergency, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service. The staff portal and visit notes support internal communication, but they do not replace emergency services.
How is personal information protected?
Client, care, staff and financial information is kept in protected private records and is limited to authorized people who need it to provide or administer services. Staff are shown only information connected to their assignments. Sensitive documents are not intended to be available through predictable public links.
Invoices and Payments
How do invoices work?
EverCaring Home Care Services issues an invoice showing the invoice number, client, billing and service dates, description, hours, rate, subtotal, applicable HST treatment, payments received and balance owing. The invoice also shows its due date and status. Contact us promptly if any service, hour or payment information appears incorrect.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Client payments may be recorded by e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard, cheque, cash or another method approved by EverCaring Home Care Services. The available method and payment instructions are confirmed with the client and may also appear on the invoice. Never send a credit-card number or password by ordinary email.
Can an invoice be paid in more than one payment?
When an arrangement has been approved, partial payments can be recorded against an invoice. Each payment reduces the balance owing. An invoice is marked paid only after recorded payments cover the full invoice total. Contact EverCaring Home Care Services before the due date if you need to discuss payment timing.
How are payment references and receipts handled?
A payment record may include the date, amount, method and an e-transfer confirmation, cheque number or card receipt reference. Keep your own confirmation or receipt. If a payment is not reflected correctly, contact support@evercaring.ca with the client name, invoice number, payment date and non-sensitive transaction reference.
How is HST shown?
Invoices and internal records show the configured tax treatment and any HST charged. EverCaring Home Care Services does not automatically decide that every service is taxable, exempt or zero-rated without the applicable business configuration. Questions about a specific invoice can be directed to us; formal tax advice should come from a qualified accounting or tax professional.
Franchise Opportunity
Can I inquire about becoming an EverCaring franchise owner?
Yes. The public Become a Franchise page accepts expressions of interest for private Head Office review. An inquiry does not guarantee approval, territory availability or a franchise agreement.
What support foundation has EverCaring built?
EverCaring has centralized foundations for administration, scheduling, client and staff records, invoicing, documents, CRM, human-reviewed growth tools, recruitment, location permissions, network oversight and guarded franchise readiness.
Does EverCaring promise earnings or return on investment?
No. EverCaring makes no earnings or return claims. Commercial, financial and legal terms require formal documentation, due diligence and appropriate professional advice.
Does the inquiry form set royalties or fees?
No. The form does not calculate, collect or promise any fee or royalty. Any applicable terms are discussed and documented only during a formal review process.
Does submitting an inquiry reserve a territory or create a franchise?
No. It creates a private lead for human review only. It does not reserve a territory, create a location or user, activate modules, create royalty processing or move money.
What information should I avoid submitting?
Do not submit a Social Insurance Number, banking details, government identification, passwords, payment-card information or medical information.
